In the spirit of Ramadan, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe SAN, FCIAarb, joined legal practitioners from the Kano and Ungoggo branches for a special Iftar gathering at the Exeemah Event Center, Nassarawa GRA, Kano.

The event, held in Akangbe’s honor and organized by the Friends of Lateef Kano/Ungoggo Bar, provided an opportunity for members of the legal profession to come together, not just in faith but in unity and shared commitment to the ideals of justice.

Speaking at the event, Akangbe expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality of his colleagues, emphasizing the importance of fellowship beyond the courtroom.

“Moments like these remind us that beyond the profession, we are a family—one that thrives on unity, respect, and shared purpose. I am deeply grateful to my friends in Kano for this gathering. May this season bring us all renewed strength, wisdom, and a sense of justice that transcends all barriers,” he said.

The Iftar event underscored the significance of solidarity within the legal community, fostering stronger bonds among practitioners while upholding the values of justice and service.
